Fearless By Max Lucado Book Review

This is my first Max Lucado book
review & I’ve got to say that I’ve
 lived a life fearing all kinds of things
and not living out of the box.
I love the way that Max includes
scriptural references in his book
to help me overcome the fears
that were holding me back from
 completing many important things
in my life.
I truly recommend this book to
 those that are hesitant to take
 a chance on life. This book has
helped me to toss my fears
aside & take the road less
 traveled.

Pretty Please Press Children’s Books Review & Giveaway


We are always looking for new books
to add to my children’s reading lists for
1st grade and pre-school ages and were
delighted to review these beautifully
written and illustrated books courtesy of
Pretty Please Press.
It’s like Christmas when we had
received the books. The children were
automatically drawn in as I read the
wonderful stories of Bella the Basset,
Pynx, Kick Block Punch & The
Scritchy Little Twitchell Sisters.
Each of these books are written by
different authors.

Pretty Please Press was founded by
Laura Aimee Garn in 2001 & is now
lead by publisher Vera Venturi .

Bella is a Basset Hound that attends
 a ballet for the first time and wants to
be a dancer. But in her dog world,
where Bella lives, only Borzois dogs
can dance. While Basset Hounds
are supposed to stay in the country
and work on the farm.
This book taught my children that
if you want something you have to
practice and work hard to achieve
it.

Kick Block Punch is a wonderful
book about a boy named, Sam who
takes a Karate class and immediately
wants a black belt..but learns slowly
that it takes hard work and practice
getting it. This book helps to develop
character.


PYNX is a great story with beautiful
illustrations that teach our children that
even though everyone doesn’t look or
talk the same, it’s good to get along
with others and learn more about being
a friend.

My children love these books and can’t
get enough of The Scritchy Little Twitchell
Sisters, which remind them alot of when
they squabble at home and everywhere we
go. There are wonderful illustrations in this
book also.

Since receiving these books we haven’t
gone a day without reading them over
and over to the children. Pretty Please
